testing of your motorcycle to ensure perfect fit
and premium quality.We insist that our testing
exceeds what an accessory or motorcycle
will endure on the road. Environmental tests
ensure that appearance is maintained, even with
exposure to the elements. Structural, vibration
and on-road testing assure that our accessories
meet and exceed riders’ expectations.
VDS/EDS (SHAKER - STRENGTH)
VDS (VEHICLE DURABILITY SIMULATION):
Replicates the damaging aspects of actual road inputs such as potholes, rumble strips,
bumps, etc. This test ensures the bike and accessories can withstand these inputs and
maintain their integrity.
EDS (ELECTRODYNAMIC SHAKER):
Replicates high frequency vibrations from the engine and other inputs to ensure parts are
structurally sound and don’t loosen over time.
QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTS:
CORROSION/CHEMICAL/UV RESISTANCE
(ENVIRONMENTAL DURABILITY)
These tests ensure that individual components do not physically or visually degrade in the
harshest of environments or when exposed to common chemicals that may come into contact with
the bike. They are tested to the harshest standards to make sure they last for the life of that part.
FATIGUE/OVERLOAD
(CYCLE - PHYSICAL DURABILITY)
OVERLOAD:
This test ensures that a part meets the limits set forth without cracks, bends or deformation.
FATIGUE:
This test ensures real world usage and the cycles of regular use over time. For example,
pressing on a back rest or pulling on handlebars.
ON-ROAD
This test is the most authentic as parts are tested on real roads and conditions. This testing
confirms the lab test results and ensures the product behaves in the way it was intended.
